Depth of Field Calculator
Since most of my 35mm lenses do not come with depth of field scales, I must improvise. I have come up with 2 programs.
One for my HP 48G calculator, and one for my Motorola i730 mobile phone. Both of them ask for 4 values:
- Focal length
- Aperture (f-number)
- Focus distance
- Circle of confusion
From these values, they will produce the following:
- Hyperfocal distance
- Near and Far distances of acceptable sharpness
- The acceptable depth of field
I will put more here when I have something to release.
